We clean the grout lines of every floor we restore. Occasionally we find some grout discoloration from a possible grout repair that the color didn't match perfectly or there is some staining, but we will get the grout clean.
No. There is no dust in the process. We release a small amount of water out as we work which eliminates dust and also serves to lubricate our pads so they don't burn out. We vacuum the water as soon as we finish each small section during each of the different grits.
We resurface the floor by using specialty pads on the bottom of a marble floor restoration machine. The weight of the machine helps grind off the very top layer of the floors surface literally scratching out the imperfections. Several other grits bring the shine back. We finish with a marble polish to ring the floor back to factory finish.

Yes, almost all white marble contains iron that can turn to rust as water migrates into the stone. This happens from water constantly hitting the edge or back of the tile. You should check for grout and caulk breakdowns in your shower and, if you see any, have it repaired immediately.
Some areas or homes have iron issues that leave deposits on the surface. We can almost always remove these.
